Had a Daisy Day—Listened and followed all the directions, was polite and respectful to teacher and classmates, kept to themselves, no horse play, etc.
Had in between a Daisy Day and an Oops Day—Teacher had to address behavior more than twice for doing things such as whining, tattling, playing with a ball instead of listening, not doing what they are suppose to be doing, but student still did their best the rest of the time. Had an Oops Day—Teacher had to constantly address student behavior, student caused many classroom interruptions, not listening, poor sportsmanship, poor attitude, poor anger management, had to sit down and not participate once because of behavior problems, etc. Had a Horrible Oops Day—Did all of the above but had to sit down and not participate more than once. |
MAKEUP WORK
Absences for 2-6 grades will be treated as follows: Each semester a student will earn six free absences. After their six “free” absences, they will receive makeup homework for any further absences. Failure to turn in those makeup assignments will receive zero points and will have a negative effect on their grade.
All late homework will receive 50% of the points earned the first day it is late, 25% of the points the second day and 0% the third day.
